Restrictions Review Project

What is the Restrictions Review Project?

The Board of Directors is reviewing the Declaration of Restrictions to prepare proposals for changes which must be voted on by the community. The Board received suggestions for changes from homeowners which was followed by a survey to assess support for the suggested changes.  A report of the survey was sent to homeowners in April.

What is happening now?

The Board of Directors is working with our attorney to prepare a proposal for a new Declaration of Restrictions. It will also include the seven previous Amendments adopted and update the language related to the Developer and Construction Phase. Once the proposal is prepared there will be a special meeting of homeowners.  The proposal will be posted on the web site and sent out via US Mail to homeowners.

When will the Special Meeting be held?

The date of the Special Meeting will be determined when the proposal is ready for a vote by homeowners. Homeowners will be able to vote by naming a proxy or by attending the Special Meeting.  A total of 139 votes is needed to adopt the proposal.  This is 50% plus 1 of our 276 total homeowners. The Board will have up to 90 days after the special meeting to complete the process of getting 139 or more affirmative votes.  The results will be an updated and easier to read document.
