A Summary of the Current Hedge Rules

Updated: September 2016 - This page is a summary of the current hedge rules.  For more detailed information, please refer to the official HOA documents for Hedge Rules.

Location of Hedges

Our rules define two separate zones on a property.  The first zone is the area in front of a home, and the second zone covers the areas on the sides and back of a home.  There are also a couple special cases, which include when a home is on a street corner, adjacent to a lake or adjacent to a preserve.

  • Front of Home - Our current rules prohibit all hedges in front of a home.

  • Side of Home &  Back Yards - Our current rules allow hedges up to a maximum of 6 feet in height.

Special Cases:

  • Corner Lots - For properties on a street corner, the side yard adjacent to the street is prohibited from having a hedge.
  • Lake and Preserve Lots - For properties adjacent to a lake or preserve, they are prohibited from having any hedges on the back side of the home.

Height of Hedges

For the areas that are allowed to have hedges, our rules define a maximum height of 6 feet.
